Our story
We’re Betty and Lee, originally from small towns in Southern USA. We moved to Germany and quickly fell in love with the country.
As American expats living in Germany, things haven’t always been easy, but we embraced our expat life and have grown to love our life in Germany. The hardest part of living in Germany is being so far away from our children in college and extended family so we have decided to try living part time in Germany and the United States. We’ll share our travel experiences along with things that surprise us about living in both places.
We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, and for people who are interested in knowing what it’s like living overseas or wanting to travel to Europe or the United States. We’re here to give you a first hand experience of life in both places from our point of view along with our travel adventures. We’re beyond excited that you’re here to share our journey!
